Disabling Extensions in the Browser
Disable google extensions
- Click More ︙ other in the top right.
- Click More Tools > Extensions
- If you want to disable the extension but not uninstall it, click the switch next to it to turn it off. You can always return to the Extensions tab and re-enable it by flipping this switch again.
- If you want to remove the extension permanently, click the “Remove” button. This will completely remove the extension from Chrome and you won't be able to use it again (unless you reinstall it later).
Disable Opera extensions
- Open the opera browser on your computer.
- Click Add-ons on the left.
- If you want to disable the extension but not uninstall it, click the switch next to it to turn it off. You can always return to the Extensions tab and re-enable it by flipping this switch again.
- If you want to remove the extension permanently, click the “Remove” button. This will completely remove the extension from Chrome and you won't be able to use it again (unless you reinstall it later).
Disable Mozilla extensions
- Open Mozilla from your computer
- Click More ≡ other in the top right.
- Click on Plugins and Theme.
- Click on Extensions on the left
- If you want to disable the extension but not uninstall it, click the switch next to it to turn it off. You can always return to the Extensions tab and re-enable it by flipping this switch again.
- If you want to remove the extension permanently, click the “Remove” button. This will completely remove the extension from Chrome and you won't be able to use it again (unless you reinstall it later).
